The reason why I even bring this up is because I was watching NBA TV the other night and they were discussing the top talents in the NBA. Basically saying the 1 and 2 spots are locked up with Kobe Bryant and Lebron James. But who is the third best player in the NBA? The panel all said Wade except for Kenny Smith who said “No, I don’t agree it’s the top three. I think Kevin Durant is in the top three.”

Later in the program, Steve Kerr backed up The Jet, saying, “Durant deserves to be in the conversation as one of the
top three players in the League.”
Personally, I think Kevin Durant is the future of the NBA, especially since he is only 21 years old. As it stands now I have Durant a notch below Wade. Until Durant can lead a team to significant playoff run like Wade has done multiple times, I have to give the nod to Dwade.
Durant is the best scorer in the NBA and one of its best shooters, Wade has a better all-around game, playing stellar defense and distributing the rock good enough to be a point guard. Durant gets buckets all night, but Wade will win games by making a block or a steal, getting a rebound, or handing off an assist, plus knocking down a game-winner.
It is worth noting out that Durant won the scoring title last year and lead the Thunder to a hard fought six game series with he eventual Champions, the Los Angeles Lakers. The crazy thing is that most NBA fans will point out that Durant didnt play that well in that series and they still came within a tip in to force a game 7. So by all accords, we can safely say KD is going to have a monster year and most than likely lead his team to a deep playoff run.
For the time being Advantage: Dwayne Wade, Who you guys got?
