I am giving a fair warning, J. Cole is the next rapper to take over your iPod. The North Carolina based rapper is the first rapper that Jay-Z signed to Roc-Nation, and he's prepared to take over the game. Rapping since age 12, J. Cole got his big break in 2009 after Jay-Z heard his first single "Lights Please"

J. Cole made a guest appearance on Jay-Z's track "A Star Is Born" off The Blueprint 3, and his first studio album, Cole World, is set to drop on October 26.
