Alright guys, your teams are drafted, the trash talk has begun, and most of you have your starting rosters set for tonights opener with the Saints and Vikings at the Superdome, a rematch of last years NFC Championship. I could really get into that back drop of the whole story with this game with Brett Favre returning to where his season ended or the Saints and if they will have the SuperBowl hangover but ill leave that to ESPN. We are here for those tough fantasy questions for week 1, starting rosters, quick pick ups and drops and who to sit or start, because we all know its about match ups. So were going to help you win this first week and really set the tone in your fantasy league. Let us know the points break down, ppr or standard. Let us know who you already have and what guys you are on the fence on and we will handle the rest.

  1. Any further news on Colston? I have Jacoby Jones that I could fill in if he cant go. I know Yahoo says he is probable but thats not gunna cut it.

  3. Agreed, I would start Colston. He says he will be 100% for tonight's game so it's hard to believe he would sit out.

  4. Bowe or Santana moss? It is not a ppr league (.5 per reception) and flacco(at NYJ) or ryan (at PIT).. I could probably leave both slots open and still win with my team, but I'm curious on thoughts..

  5. Honestly for me I don't trust Matt Cassell and that Todd Haley offense especially against San Diego's defense. McNabbs health is somewhat of a concern but based on the QBs id say Santana Moss might be a safer bet to have more possession reps and he is the Redskins number one and more of an option than galloway.. I just dont like how KC is going to move the ball against SD, but if your a projection guy Bowe will be projected more but not going to come through in my opinion

  6. Honestly these two qbs are a total coin flip given the situations. I like flacco but going against the best defensive team against the pass is troublesome for a opening game on the road. I think Matt Ryan is going to have a great year but Pitt on the road isnt the best way to start it. But I dont like either Pittsburghs offense with unproven starter Dennis Dixon nor NYs with Mark Shanchez so I feel there defenses are gunna be on the field alot, giving Ryan and Flacco more time on the ball. Flacco has more offensive weapons with TJ,Boldin, Mason and Ray Rice catching little dump offs and screens, Id give the slight edge to Flacco

  7. Two questions... Do we know if Fred Taylor or Maroney is going to be the starting back? and do we know if Jacoby Jones has moved above Kevin Walter on the Depth Chart?

  8. It's hard to say who will be starting at RB in New England due to the RB by committee approach, but either way all RB's including Sammy Morris should get an equal time-share. If you had to start a RB on the Pats I would go with Fred Taylor for week 1. However, I would avoid any NE running back if possible.

Jacoby Jones really has made his mark in Houston and everyone is noticing. The official depth chart hasn't officially been determined, but Jacoby looks like he has WAY more upside than Walter. Regardless of what the depth chart reads, I would go with Jacoby over Walter at this point.

  10. Look how good our advice was! Santana out played Bowe and Fred Taylor is the GUY in New England.
