Miami at Boston, This is going to be the first time we are going to get to see the Miami Heat circus play a meaning full game on national television agasint the Eastern Conference Champs. Some interesting things to look at is how the Celtics Match up against the Heat, some experts are saying they can hang with Lebron Dwade and Bosh, what we do know is that now that Boston has added Shaq they have the size advantage, but the battle on the wings is where things are going to get interesting. Allen on Wade, Pierce on Lebron and KG on Bosh, look for the swing pass on the pick and roll with Miami, Lebron with Bosh or Dwade with Bosh or even Dwade and Lebron, that swing pass to the other wing is going to be Miami's bread and butter, no team is going to be able to switch fast enough to stop Lebron or Wade on the dribble drive or Mike Miller with the open three, when that swing pass happens, so we shall see, if you cant tell I am already excited!

Bulls at Oklahoma City, Derrick Rose v Russell Westbrook is a very fun and interesting match up which just has loads of athleticism and speed. Then there is obviously the additions of Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver and Ronnie Brewer which should make for an excellent and versatile team. With the Thunder we already know what we are getting, predicted by ESPN to be the second ranked team in the West, they are very talented, love to defend and can really play with the best in the NBA. Kevin Durant is one of my favorite players and this year I think he is really going to put his stamp on the NBA, if winning the scoring title didn't do it for you, this season will.
October 27th on TNT
Washington Wizards vs Orlando, More then likely going to be a blowout by the Magic, but im definitely going to have fun watching John Wall go to work on Jameer Nelson, even though Im a Jameer fan, he has no chance against Wall and his speed and athleticism. Should be fun to watch the Wall welcoming party.

Orlando at Miami, This is, as we speak set up to be a big rivialry in the East, besides Miami having a target on their back with the entire league, we know the games with LA, Boston, Orlando, and Cleveland ( even though the Cavs are going to get waxed by 30). This is going to be the first match up between the two which should be interesting. Most of us know the bad blood between Stan Van Gundy and Miami, Pat Riley basically stole and championship from him and booted him out so he could win the title in 2006 with Shaq and Wade. Not only that but Jeff Van Gundy just heaped a bunch of pressure on Miami by basically saying that the rest of the NBA should pack it up and that the only team that could come close to being them in the playoffs is the Lakers. I'm curious to find out what his real motive was behind those statements. Fortunately for the rest of the NBA the Heat are going to have to play the games to get the chance to take the championship from LA.

Miami Heat Rock Tour Show!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVia Lebron James Twitter " Dont think for one min that I havent been taking mental notes of everyone taking shots at me this summer. And I mean everyone!
ReplyDeleteShould be interesting
Miami is going to be real fun to watch this year. A lot of people are hating on Lebron but people have to realize lebron won 66 games with Mo Williams and Andy V being the next 2 best players. Exchange Mo with Wade and Anderson with Bosh? That's a 70plus win team
ReplyDeleteDecember 2nd is Heat going to Cleveland!! Cant wait
ReplyDeleteMiami needs bigs, I think games with Boston and Orland will be interesting... I think teams are going to play zone and dare them to take jumpers
ReplyDeleteAgree with Zone in stretches for sure, but still gotta look out bc they have shooters now with house and miller and you can get your zone busted leaving those guys open. and wade and bron can penetrate at will so it will be hard to keep a tight zone if the middle collapses
