Live Media Minds Fantasy Football Forum

Courtesy of LongIslandPress.Com

I know most of you are playing fantasy football and I commend you for that decision. At this point my fantasy football team might as well be my first born, thats shows you how much time I put into my team. With that being said, if you guys are anything like me you are always looking for advice on who to start, waiver pick ups, trade advice, rate your team and other aspects of the fantasy world and sometimes "expert" picks dont do you justice. So due to popular demand we are going to have a fantasy forum everyweek that is going to start on Saturday afternoons and will be open till Monday to answer fantasy questions and cover the weekends games. Eric and I will handle the gambling aspect, and all of us will have a hand in with help with your fantasy football teams. On top of that, some of us will also be doing picks we like against the spread, parlays, locks, and games to aviod on Thursdays and Fridays. Good luck this season.

  1. What are your guys thoughts on Jamaal Charles, He really lit it up at the end of the season and I really want to start him for mondays game. I have Ray Rice but the second spot is open between Charles Forsett and Bradshaw.. help

  2. Thats a good question, Id probably go with Bradshaw honestly. I like charles too and have him on one of my teams but he is playing against SD's defense which is pretty solid. Also forsett is playing against SF who was 6th against the run last year I believe, so no forsett. I would have to go with Bradshaw considering he is the number 1 guy and will share a few touches with jacobs but not many. Bradshaw is the guy in my opinion

  3. Do you think its worth letting a sydney rice or Vincent Jackson sit on your bench? or should I go after a guy on the wire like Mike Williams or Gaffney?

  4. What Mike Williams? Ive heard good things about both if Its Seattles Mike Williams I would say go for it. Pete Carroll was willing to let TJ go and I think it was in favor of Mike Williams being they guy they want to be the Number 1. Could be a decent pick up if he is still there.

  5. So Im in a ppr league and wondering if I should start reggie bush or cj spiller in my w/t/r spot? I like both but kinda wanna see what cj has but he is in a worse offense and i dont know if they bills are gunna give him all the touches even tho he is the starter..

  6. That's a toss up, but I would go with Reggie Bush on this one. Even though Reggie is playing against a tough Vikings defense, C.J. Spiller and his piss-poor offense are going against a respectable Miami defense. Both players can catch the ball and make big plays, so it's hard to truly decipher the outcome. It might help to know the Bills head coach stated he would not give the rookie a heavy workload in the season opener.

Furthermore, definitely pick up Mike Williams (SEA) if he's on your waiver wire! Gaffney is also another great pick up.

  7. Shaincoe or Carlson? for my TE spot?

  8. I would go with Visanthe Shiancoe. He's a big target for Brett, especially in the red zone. With Sidney Rice out for a while, look for him to get a lot of TD's this year. Carlson could prove to be a solid TE, but let him show up first before gambling with him. Additionally, Carlson had a weak preseason and I don't trust Hasselbeck.
