It's that time of the week again! Last week, Jahvid Best was the best of the best, but don't expect the same results in week 3. Injuries are starting to really hurt fantasy owners (including myself) and it's time to get strategic with your pickups. Look for Mike Tolbert to have a big workload this week as Ryan Matthews admits to a high ankle sprain and make sure you have Knowshon Moreno out of your lineups as he suffered another hamstring injury yesterday in practice.
You know the drill, ask us who to sit/start for week 3 and anything else to satisfy your fantasy needs in the comments section. Good luck this week!
You think Benson is due for a breakout game? I can understand being down against the Pats that there were not alot of runs called even though he got a full load with around 23 carries and also the Pats Secondary has questions but up front they are pretty solid against the run, So ill give Benson a pass there and the same with the Ravens...But Carolina is pretty bad with a terrible offense meaning Cincy's Offense should be on the field quite a bit, do you think with that being said we can see more from Benson around the goal line and with more carries?
ReplyDeleteOut of Pierre Thomas, Darren McFadden and Shonne Greene who would you start if there are 2 open spots?
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt Cedric Benson has been off to a slow start. Primarily attributed to being down early and having to air the ball out against NE and playing a tough Ravens defense in week 2. However, I do believe Benson is definitely due for a breakout game and he is a great RB overall. Don't give up on him yet as he should be in for his best game of the season this week. He will definitely be getting plenty of touches and hopefully see the end zone once maybe even twice this week against Carolina.
ReplyDeleteThere is no question in starting Pierre Thomas this week especially with Reggie Bush out and him having a pretty favorable matchup. McFadden has really impressed in his first two appearances this season, while Michael Bush has been out. Bush is probable to play this week so McFadden will be sharing his workload, but McFadden should be getting the majority of the carries. Greene is going up against a tough Miami D this week and I feel McFadden has a better match up against Arizona. I would go with Pierre Thomas and Run DMC (McFadden) this week.
Can we consider Jamaal Charles a back up?
ReplyDeleteMike Wallace, Mark Clayton or Donald Driver?
ReplyDeleteIt seems that way that, Jamaal isn't getting the touches he deserves. Thomas Jones got practically twice the carries last week compared to Charles. It looks like Jones will continue to be the starter as he is used in short yardage situations and on 1st downs, yet it is only a matter of time Charles will get more touches due to his explosiveness and upside. Later in the season Charles will become more valuable, but for now he sits behind Jones.
ReplyDeleteI would sit on Mike Wallace until Big Ben comes back as the QB situation in Pit is pretty ugly. It looks like this week Clayton has the better matchup compared to Driver and seems like the featured WR. There are plenty of weapons in GB decreasing Driver's value slightly. I would go with Mark Clayton this week.
