The New England Patriots trade of Randy Moss may be the move of the decade.

Chalk this one up to not so far fetched rumors, but talk is circulating that this offseason, the New England Patriots may be in line to be add ALL-WORLD WR Larry Fitzgerald. If anyone has been paying attention, the New England Patriots have silently gone and acquired what feels like half of the 2011 draft. Along with having basically 2 picks in each of the first 5 rounds, the Patriots own the Oakland Raiders 2011 1st round draft pick from the Richard Seymour trade. Arizona, although they can still win the NFC West in 2010, is in a long-term rebuilding mode. Fitzgerald has a player option for 2011, and with the direction the Cardinals are headed, an opt-out doesn't seem far fetched. If the Cardinals knew Fitz was planning on opting out, a trade would make sense, and New England can offer Oakland's 1st round pick along with numerous other picks for Fitzgerald. This would give the Cardinals the ability to draft one of the QB's they so desperately need (Jake Locker, Andrew Luck, Ryan Mallet....) and possibly Georgia WR AJ Green or Alabama WR Julio Jones. Although neither Green or Jones is at Fitz's level right now, they both have unlimited potential, and with the right QB could cause a lot of damage in the NFL.
The Patriots, no matter what their fans will tell you, were not a Championship caliber team this year. After all the flack that he has gotten in the 24 hours
